Current link status

Amazon affiliate links are enabled. Pages with product links disclose that CatCost may earn a commission before purchase links appear.

Amazon Associates wording

When Amazon affiliate links are enabled, CatCost identifies the relationship with this statement near relevant links: As an Amazon Associate, CatCost earns from qualifying purchases.

Price and availability

Before Amazon affiliate links are enabled, some comparison pages may show clearly labeled third-party Amazon reference prices. When Amazon affiliate mode is enabled, CatCost hides third-party Amazon prices unless official Amazon pricing data is available through approved tooling.

Product images

CatCost does not copy or host Amazon product images. Product visuals should come only from permitted product APIs, approved brand assets, or original CatCost visuals.

Editorial independence

Product tables should expose sortable cost metrics, source notes, and quality flags. Affiliate relationships should not hide missing data or unsupported claims.

No incentives for clicks

CatCost should not ask readers, friends, relatives, or email subscribers to click affiliate links as a favor, nor should it offer rewards for using special links.

Email and offline limits

Amazon special links should stay on approved online properties. CatCost should not place Amazon special links in email, SMS, printed material, attachments, or offline promotions.
